Welcome to Point-Shoot-Edit (Fall, 2016). I’m Eileen Cotton, the peer leader of this class. For 5 weeks, starting Tuesday, October 11, we will learn more about taking great photos and then we will share those photos on this blog. When we are done, we will have a record of how to compose great pictures.
The class is intended for folks who have point and shoot cameras...but if you have a DSLR and want to brush up on composition skills, this is the class for you. As for me...I’m using 3 different point and shoot cameras...an iPhone 6, a Canon PowerShot G11, and a Canon Powershot SX 280 HS. None of my cameras are brand new but all take wonderful pictures.
This class will focus on three basic skills: composition, enhancing programs/apps while having a good time. At the end of the day, you will take a good picture and make it into a GREAT picture.
